Business Process Analyst

The incumbent is responsible for documenting and mapping business processes and analysing and identifying opportunities for business process improvements. In addition, the incumbent will support the redesign of HR processes and implementation of optimized and new processes.

Business Process Reengineering Lead
Supervision given to: 
N/A
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  1. Thoroughly documents existing business processes across various departments or functions.
  1. Utilizes data analytics and process analysis skills to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of current business processes.
  1. Identifies areas where processes can be improved to enhance productivity, reduce costs or better meet business objectives.
  1. Redesigns processes for workflow optimization.
  1. Supports the implementation of redesigned or new processes, ensuring smooth transition and adoption.
  1. Creates detailed process maps or flowcharts to visually represent current and proposed workflows.
  1. Supports continuous improvement initiatives.
  1. Performs other related duties as required. 
Minimum Experience and Training: 

1. Seven (7) years’ experience working in a high quality project driven environment.

2. Three (3) years’ experience in the documenting and reviewing of complex business process.

3.Three (3) years’ experience using process mapping and modelling techniques.

4. Demonstrated experience reengineering business processes.

Knowledge: 

1. Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Project Management or Social Science from a recognised University.

2. Specialized certification in Business Process Management.

3. Post graduate qualifications would be an asset.
